According to Mike Arrington, Facebook has taken back a vanity URL from a Facebook user - Harman Bajwa - and sold it a company called Harmon.

Facebook wont let you sell your own vanity name, but they can steal yours and sell it.

Evidence continues to mount…..

UPDATE:   They gave it back - presumably once the facebook group supporting Harman started to gain momentum.
